iGaming advisory & operations · Madrid

Two ways in: advise the route, or run the station.

Terminus Platform S.L. works with igaming and online betting operators in two distinct capacities: independent advisory on market entry and licensing, and hands-on management of live, regulated operations. Each line is scoped, billed, and staffed separately, so a market assessment is never followed by the same people running the business it just evaluated.

Why operators bring Terminus in before, and after, they launch

01

Independent by structure

Advisory and operations are separate mandates, staffed and billed apart, so an assessment is never marked by the same team that goes on to run the business.

02

Full range, in-house

Regulatory, technical, tax, and marketing compliance sit inside one team rather than four subcontractors, so nothing gets lost in translation between reports.

03

Built by people who've done it

Led by an executive with close to fifteen years inside the B2B2C gaming industry itself, not a general strategy firm working the sector from the outside.

Volume I

Advisory

Independent assessment, delivered as a report the operator owns and can act on with its own teams or ours. Stage II only begins once the operator has reviewed and formally signed off on Stage I — Terminus does not carry forward into operations under this line, and the two are priced and staffed apart.

Stage I

Market research and analysis

  • In-depth competitive analysis: how established operators in each territory position their product, price their offer, and structure their licensing and payments stack
  • Legal and regulatory framework, licensing routes, gap analysis
  • Taxation modelling — GGR, turnover, and indirect levies
  • Technical and operational compliance requirements
  • Marketing and advertising compliance guidelines
  • Weighted market scoring across five criteria
Stage II

Compliance and operational readiness

  • Legal and corporate structuring needed to operate lawfully in the target territory, from entity setup to shareholder suitability
  • Licensing documentation and compliance reporting
  • Migration and integration roadmap, including KYC/AML
  • Customer support framework and multilingual operations
  • Standard operating procedures through go-live
  • Ongoing technical and regulatory change monitoring
  • 01Legislative environment
  • 02Taxation
  • 03Product diversity
  • 04Technical & compliance requirements
  • 05Advertising regulations

Volume II

Operate & manage

For licensed operators already through the door. Terminus takes on day-to-day running of the business — a separate mandate, a separate team, billed and scoped apart from any advisory engagement on the same market, so the people who assessed a market are never the ones running it.

Operations
OP

Day-to-day management

Running the licensed operator's business functions on the operator's behalf, aligned to the license conditions in force, from reporting cadence to responsible gaming obligations.

Technology
TE

Platform & vendor management

Coordinating technology providers, platform uptime, and integrations so the operation stays live and stable, including vendor selection and contract oversight where needed.

Compliance
CP

Ongoing regulatory upkeep

Monitoring obligations, reporting, and licence conditions after go-live — not a one-off audit, but an ongoing function that tracks regulatory change as it happens.

CRM & marketing
CX

Customer service & marketing management

Player support, CRM, and marketing execution run by a team with regulated-market experience, covering everything from bonus compliance to multilingual customer service.

Advisory scope of work

01
MI

Market intelligence

Sizing, maturity, and consumer demographics for each territory, alongside a structured competitive analysis of how the market's established operators price, position, and differentiate their product.

02
RA

Regulatory analysis

Licensing schemes, corporate and capital requirements, AML and GDPR obligations, and a gap analysis comparing the operator's current setup against what the local regulator actually requires.

03
TX

Taxation framework

GGR, turnover, and indirect tax modelling, with recommendations for how the operator's structure can stay compliant without giving up more margin than the law requires.

04
TC

Technical compliance

Platform certification, payment and anti-fraud systems, hosting, uptime, and data integrity requirements, mapped against what the operator's existing stack already satisfies.

05
MC

Marketing compliance

Advertising restrictions, bonus and affiliate rules, and responsible messaging requirements that differ enough between territories to trip up a campaign built for just one.

06
GL

Go-live execution

Migration roadmap, standard operating procedures, and coordination of outsourced customer support through to official launch, so nothing is improvised in the final weeks.

Who we are

Twenty-plus people, one operator's worth of experience

Terminus Platform is run by a team of more than 20 professionals spanning regulatory, technology, operations, and player-facing functions across the territories we work in — the same range of disciplines Appendix A of any engagement asks for, kept in-house rather than subcontracted out. That range is deliberate: a market assessment is only useful if the same firm can tell you, realistically, what it takes to act on it.

The firm is led by Yago Perrin Vazquez, a senior executive with roughly 15 years in the B2B2C gaming and iGaming industry across Spain, Latin America, and wider Europe. His work spans go-to-market strategy, regulatory licensing, and international market execution — the same three areas that structure both service lines above. That combination of assessment and execution experience is what each advisory report draws on, not just how a market looks on paper, but what it takes to actually operate inside it.

The name is a small nod to Isaac Asimov's Foundation: Terminus, the outpost founded at the edge of a collapsing order to preserve what mattered and rebuild from it. Platform, because that's the base a client's operation gets refounded on.
